Be Kind to Yourself

New research is supporting a link between being kind to oneself and improvement in mental and physical health. When faced with the life stressors, the voice in our head can be our greatest ally or our worst enemy. A study by the Universities of Exeter and Oxford has proposed that kind inner thoughts actually shut off the body’s threat system, allowing a person to overcome obstacles by feeling less stressed and anxious. A good reminder for all of us to add a little more “self love” in our life. Check out the full link here.
